The indo Aryans used the sun symbol for a LONG time and they were the ancestors of European people. The symbol is all over megaliths from the neolithic era.

I just got into an argument last week with someone for discussing how early religions in the east and west are oft united via the indo Aryan migration, but the opposition was a moderator and on reddit that means more than my degree in comparative religions lol. I wouldn't be surprised to get down voted to shit for this one either XD
