Brief Question About Rome

by Ziganin

What year(s) are considered to be the height of Rome.. I remember reading somewhere around 117? I've heard a lot of contradictory things... especially about how the military was organized.. and I'm just wondering if anyone can shed some light on the subject.

Most are in agreement that the apex of the Roman Empire was during the reign of the Five Good Emperors: Nerva, Trajan, Hadrian, Antoninus Pius, and Marcus Aurelius. 96 - 180 AD. Trajan's reign saw the Roman Empire at its largest in size.
