Just asking what is on the title; there are many examples of multiple wives to one husband, but I've never heard of the inverse. Did anything like this ever exist? If so, can anyone here give me any more information about them? Thanks!
This is not as much a historical question as an anthropological one. The answer is yes, most notably in Tibet. It's called polyandry.
there was a post a couple of months ago - see here for a short discussion & links to a few more posts on polyandry
Are there any examples of polygamy in history where the woman marries multiple men?
