What did Russia do with its ships in the Black sea after the Crimean war?

by navysealassulter

As part of the peace treaty, Russia had to remove its ships from the Black sea. Its is quite a distance to get to the Baltic sea from there, so did they sail the ships to St. Petersburg or did they dismantle them or something along those lines?

That's incorrect - per Russo-Turkish protocol, every country could have up to 6 steamers 50 m in length and up to 800 tonn plus 4 ships (steam-driven or under sails) up to 200 tonn.

Since whole Black Sea fleet was scuttled in ports to prevent coalition from landing, Russia has sent ships from Baltic Sea to Black Sea.

So - yep, in June 1857 three small 800-tonn corvettes («Зубр», «Рысь», «Удав») made all the way from Baltic to Black Sea by Sep 1857, under Capt. 1-st class Likhachev command. By April 1858 another squadron of 3 corvettes arrived («Буйвол», «Вепрь», «Волк»), commanded by Capt. 1-st class Vink.
