I couldnt find much info on them other the wikipedia article. I'm specially interested in the divisions assigned to Eritreia (Ethiopy). Thanks for your time.
I would recommend the Osprey book The Italian invasion of Abyssinia 1935-36 by David Nicolle, written in 1997.
In that book, it specifically mentions the 5th Alpine Division Pusteria, which took part in the northern campaign (i.e. out of Eritrea) and were engaged at the battle of Amba Arada and the battle of Maychew.
Nicolle also notes that Alpini officers were placed in command of regular infantry regiments for operations in mountainous terrain, though I can't find mention of which specific officers or regiments/divisions.
