Medieval life was largely organized around agriculture. Sunday was the only weekly day off, but there were many religious days celebrating saints (once a month or so) that people would have had off. On working days people would wake up at dawn and work in the fields until the sun set. But work was heaviest during planting and harvesting seasons and lighter in between.
