Condemning a person for using cuss words sounds very modernist. Did this Commandment have any interesting context? Perhaps the word swear was referring to something else.
Do you mean "Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain: for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain"? Or are you talking about a different commandment involving "cuss words"?
