We were discussing this in my AP European history class today. My teacher said this brought anti-Semitism to the forefront, but if I've learned anything in history classes, the Jews have always been disliked and used as scapegoats. How did the rise in anti-Semitism lead to totalitarianism?
Uh...could you clarify the question? It seems like quite a big jump to go from "anti-Semitism was a big issue throughout history" to "anti-Semitism led to totalitarianism".
