One more thing Im confused about is what marked the end if the three estate system? Was it the August 4th 1789 conference (end of feudal system) or was it when the Declaration of the Rights of Man was signed or something else?
The best single point would be the Declaration of the Republic in September of 1792 when the French Directory declared the First French Republic after the victory at Valmy. From here, the French National Convention was established and acted to strip away the rights of the nobility in favor of the egalitarian concepts of the Revolution.
