We know of so many ancient and different mythologies and pantheons like the Greek, Norse, Egyptian, Aztec, Incan etc but was there ever a culture that we know of that was godless or deity-less? Maybe a more realistic question would be; was there a crime we know of where religion was not a large part of daily life and took a back seat to politics, etc.
