I'm not exactly sure if this is the correct place to ask this.
I was just wondering what is the most well done adaptation of the Epic of Gilgamesh? Be it film, novel, whatever.
What criteria do you have in mind for judging? Your title says "most accurate", but then you go on to talk about films and novels -- do you mean by that to rule out straight translations of the Akkadian text? If so, what do you have in mind in saying "accurate"?
