What international conflict after 1945-1991 is the most interesting?

Well, I mean, that's an entirely subjective matter.

But, I think the U.S. supported coup in Chile in 1973 that overthrew a democratically elected socialist Salvador Allende in favor of a military dictatorship that left over 3,000 people dead or missing is extremely interesting, and would be a less common topic than the ones listed above. It also would provide an interesting twist on the U.S./Soviet dualism, seen from the U.S. perspective of the Cold War being a Good v.s. Bad situation.
