My knowledge of China is nearly nonexistant. I'm particularly interested in learning about Ancient China. Any recommendation of podcasts, documentaries, books, etc would be appreciated. I recently picked up a copy of The Three Kingdoms, but i don't know how factual it is.
Three Kingdoms is pretty romanticised, hence the full English name.
I highly recommend you listen to the China History Podcast. It's a good place to start on a great many topics throughout Chinese history. Feel free to jump around between topics.
If you can narrow down what period you're particularly interested in, people might be able to give more tailored suggestions as well.
