Just letting you know, I removed this question due to the fact that it is a trivia-seeking question - as noted here...

The problem here is, as you might have noticed, that not a single one of the answers that has come up has actually answered your questions while adhering to the standards that we uphold here. However, if you'd like, you can always message /u/caffarelli with this one! She hosts the Tuesday Trivia features - and this question would fit right in there, though she might prefer to make it more along the lines of "Strange weapons throughout history."
