We always here about the plebeians verse the patricians but what happened between them?
What exactly do you mean? Plebeian and patrician were two social classes in the early Roman Republic. The legendary first king and founder of Rome, Romulus, took 300 men and made them "Patricians" giving them political power (the first "senate"). (supposedly these men were chosen because they were the only ones who could trace their ancestry (through the male, hence pater* i.e. 'father')). Political power and economic power were linked to some extent, but not 100% (you can find very wealthy plebeians and very poor patricians). The two groups would clash throughout Roman history because political power was concentrated in the hands of the patricians.
