WWII Liberation of Paris, France, and Battle for Berlin.

Hi, I have a question pertaining about a short story that I'm writing. Would it be OK if for example, I have the liberation of Paris, France, and the battle for Berlin in one whole sequence that happens over a couple of days. But in reality those two events happened a year apart. Would that be historically OK or not?

Its your story. You can decide to be as accurate or inaccurate as you want to be. But I can assure you anyone with the slightest bit of knowledge about the progression of the war will be quite perplexed by your choice to eschew the actual timeline of events to such a degree. Those are the kinds of things that will be jarring, and ruin a story for some people.
