Hello! You might be interested in an earlier post I wrote about the worship of Baal, where I also discuss recent research about infant sacrifice in Carthage (link here). I should point out that the "Roman propaganda" argument doesn't really work, since few Roman writers actually mention the practice. References come mainly from Greek sources. Punic culture, moreover, didn't disappear with the destruction of Carthage; on the contrary, it survived at least several centuries more throughout North Africa, and even under Roman rule. :)
