What area or subject in history do you find absolutely fascinating, but is considered fairly obscure, unknown, or has not received its due scholarship?
I like fashion and how it changed over time. No one ever tries to explain why in Elizabethan times Europeans wore that funny thing around their neck. And then why that trend disappeared.
