The case of hitlers body is very interesting. Firstly, it is well known that in his last political testament specified that his body was to be burned in order to not be mutilated as Mussolini's body had been. His body was burned under the witness of Goebbels and Borrman, Goebbles than committed suicide and Borrman was never found (Assumed he made it to south america, although a dangerous assumption as there is no evidence for or against). Anyways, after the soviet troops had searched the bunker several interesting things were found, such as a body buried in the garden with a mustache and diagonally combed hair. This body was assumed to not be hitler. After much searching two bodies were found that were buried with a dog, this was later "confirmed" to be hitler by soviet troops. More info about what happened to the body afterwards can be found in the source linked. To answer your question, Hitler and Eva Brauns body was cremated to prevent humiliation as done to Mussolini. It is said that the remains of the Hitlers were buried in the Chancellery garden, however based of Soviet records and on troops that were desperate to find a body to please Stalins interest in acquiring Adolf Hitlers body.

The official story is after he killed himself the USSR shelled the Führerbunker and it burned to the ground with Hitler's body in it. A scull was recovered that is said to be his, but that is still a matter of debate.
