I want to thank everyone for giving me the opportunity to moderate what is, in my opinion, the best sub on reddit. I'll do my best not to let you all down. Now for my first official act as moderator: In true Tarascan fashion, I will now require the flaired users to provide regular tribute in the form of firewood for the eternal flames in the temples. This way we can ensure that the gods of the sky are properly fed.

On another note, I can now see all of the deleted comments in this sub and it is horrifying. I feel like a character in a Lovecraft story who has peeled back the thin veil of sanity separating our reality from the unspeakable horrors which cannot be unseen.
