I'm finding it hard to get into the mindset, ideals or goals of being a slave during the time period. What would they want to change, what would they think about it?
Here is a list of the slaves and indentured servants at Bacons Castle (Arthur Allens home that was occupied during the rebellion). Knowing where they've come from and how long they remained is a good start to building their story.
