I am having trouble thinking of a topic for my Chinese class. It needs to be around 11 pages in length and I am wanting to write about Chinese cosmogony. Should I focus on the ideas of the Taoist and their relation with the creation stories? Thanks a bunch!

The Daoists don't spend too much time on cosmogony. Their cosmological concerns were more present tense, and they focused on geo-cosmology.
This may not be what you are interested in, but there is a lot there - sacred geography, cosmological relationships to the landscape, etc etc. Let me know if you want to pursue this and I can give you some sources.
