A Nevada cattleman is in the news for refusing to be removed from range he has no permit to, what are some historical examples of the same?

The Cliser Evictions that happened in 1935 when the NPS built Shenandoah National Park are still talked about in the Appalachians. In Cliser's case, he owned the property but the government claimed Eminent Domain and evicted anyway. People who had lived on the open land in the region for generation were simply removed and resettled. Here's another page from the NPS about the evictions.

EDIT: Improper plural.

Removing because the question is over broad and falls afoul of our no poll or in your era type questions rule.
