My class has an assessment coming up. We have to write an essay on the meeting of the estates general of 1789. I haven't really been able to find any articles stating how (and why) Louis XVI and Robespierre both reacted to the meeting. If anyone could shed some light, that would be great.
Hi, when you state 'how and why Louis XVI and Robespierre both reacted' - what do you exactly mean by that? Do you mean why they acted rather negative to why the event occurred before hand, during, and/or after? Clarifying this would give me an idea how to approach this, heh.
