As in were there any peoples that didn't recognise the correlation between sex and pregnancy? I don't mean an implied understanding of the biological processes involved, simply sex = baby.
If so, what were their theories?
I've wondered a similar thing: are there any accounts or theories on how humanity made the correlation that sex=pregnant?
Because, if you think about it, its not that obvious...considering there's nine months between conception and birth...
