I don't mean how accurate the bible is in general, rather how accurate it is with the story of this mysterious man Jesus and the events surrounding his popularity and later Crucifixion. Had the Romans kept some record of the events? Surely they must have documented all high profile executions, and their reasoning behind them.
Over the ages the bible has been somewhat romanticized, and a great level of mysticism added to it. What kind of a man Jesus really was, who his followers were and what they believed in is really hard to understand now considering how the bible is the best known and most accepted documentation of the events.
