Trying to ignore the morality of the issue, did the "Action T4" cleansing in Nazi Germany help the nation either economically or socially? Are German's today, as a whole, better off because of it?

I've removed this question for a few reasons:

  • It's too speculative. It's almost a "what if" question, in that it would require imagining a modern Germany in which these actions did not occur, in order to compare it to the current actual Germany.

  • It requires analysis of modern Germany, which is outside the scope of this subreddit.

  • Finally, it's way too subjective. What is "better off"? How does one define this?

This question, while an interesting thing to consider, is too speculative and subjective to be answered with any reliability.
