I have a question about Biblical sexuality. If I were a Christian today, should I feel guilty about porn? When did it become something shameful?

I heard a dissertation on the old testament verses the new testament related to pornography the other day. Apparently Jesus was born of the lines of King David, Solomon, and others...all who were very sexually driven. Where did the guilt of sex start and now rendered leaves very religious people to proclaim hate against gays and the enjoyment of sex other than for procreation?

I'm not going to answer this, I'm going to give you feedback on why your question probably won't receive a good answer from anyone on this subreddit.

There are two main problems, one is that your question seems ideologically loaded, the second is that you are asking about 5 very broad questions:

  1. What is the understanding of sexuality within the Biblical documents?
  2. What is the history of pornography?
  3. Is is meaningful to talk of pornography in the historical context of the Biblical documents?
  4. What is the history of post-New Testament Christian attitudes and thinking about sexuality for the last 2000 years?
  5. How do areas 1-4 relate to contemporary issues relating to homosexuality in the civic arena in Western countries?
