Ive read "Theres power in a union" which I thought was a great book. Any other suggestions?
Paul Avrich is a good starting place. I've heard good things about the Haymarket Scrapbook, and the documentary, The Free Voice of Labor. If you're looking for a more global overview by modern anarchists, check out Black Flame or Fighting for Ourselves. Are you interested in the IWW specifically?
See if you can find this book in your local library or via inter-library loan. It's written by one of my professors and is quite good! :)
The Battle against Anarchist Terrorism: An International History, 1878–1934 (ISBN: 9781107034051)
You will probably like Beverly Gage's The Day Wall Street Exploded. She's a Yale (I believe) historian that is able to make strong arguments within a really good narrative. The same goes for Paul Avrich. You might like his latest book that was finished by his daughter after his death, Sasha and Emma.
