Just for the record, David Irving is not a professor. I assume you are using the word in the American sense, but even then, he has never held a teaching position at any tertiary institute and in fact doesn't have a university degree. He worked for the University of London, but he was an editor of one of its non-academic journals, not a member of the teaching staff.
