Has anyone ever successfully invaded Russia?

Depends on your definition of 'success.' And 'Russia,' for that matter.

The Mongols managed to conquer the states which would occupy modern Russia, but they were quite fractious and incapable of acting in unison until it was far too late. This led to the 200 year period known as The Mongol Yoke (yoke as in a thing you use to harness oxen to a plow.) The actual effect of the conquest was basically to start a 200 year guerrilla war, though.

The Poles managed to briefly occupy Moscow in the 17th century and even (very briefly) put a Pole on the Russian throne. Which led to Russia hating Poland to this very day.

After that nobody has really managed to occupy Russian soil for very long. The Germans theoretically beat the Russians in WWI, but their conquests were reversed pretty quickly by the Red Army under the new Soviet Union.
