George Washington, leader in the American Revolution and the United States' first President, is a very pivotal figure in American History. James Wolfe, the British General who would capture Quebec City from the French, is a very pivotal figure in Canadian History. Both men were high ranking leaders in the French and Indian War. Did the two men ever meet?
I do not believe Wolfe makes any mention of meeting Washington in the letters included in "The life and letters of James Wolfe" by Beckles Willson. This is also consistent with the fact that he spent a very short period of time in the Americas before attacking Louisbourg, all of this was spent in Halifax. After this he went to Louisbourg and from there to Quebec City.

Found three letters by Washington that place him in Fort Loudoun on May 4, 1758, in Loudoun again on May 11, 1758, and in Williamsburg on May 28, 1758. Again, no mention on Wolfe.

Simply put: It's highly unlikely.
