Just watched Vikings, and noticed they say Lothbrok with a th-sound. Is this correct?

All mighty wikipedia tells me his name was spelled Lodbrok, does this have anything to do with ð?

His nickname was spelled with an "ð", which means it was a voiced "th" as in "then" as opposed to "thin." Too often the "ð" appears as "d", but only because it "kinda" looks like one. Looks don't matter. It's a voiced "th."
