Not homework, just a disagreement is all
Appeasement, no matter how problematic you find it, cannot be blamed for the outbreak of WWII. No amount of not declaring war when confronted can be twisted into a position of blame.
What started WWII were aggressive, expansionistic, militaristic regimes that made war on their neighbors. Japan invaded her neighbors in Asia and Germany invaded her neighbors in Europe. Italy joined in the expansionistic actions, but with less success. Blaming Britain and France for the actions of Germany, Italy, and Japan doesn't make sense to me.
Nope. Appeasement was basically just buying time. To some extent it was an honest admission that Versailles had gone too far.
Versailles was the main reason for WW2. Not only was Germany held complicit for the war when they were only doing what everyone else was, but they were forced to pay an unreal amount of money which severely destabilized the country, only further agitated by France's actions when Germany defaulted on reparations.
The money bit is important because of how it was calculated- Germany was to pay a flat amount in addition to a value equal to 25% of it's export economy.
