I've got a few articles I want to keep in good condition, my prime example being the full page ad taken out by the rebels in Turkey in the NYT, and I want to preserve it to show my children or anyone else.
What's the best way to go about doing that?
What's the dimension of the page? I happen to have a leftover A3 archival type polyester pocket which I use to conserve larger paper items (among them, a military pardon order to King Vittorio Emanuele III signed by Benito Mussolini). If it fits, I can try and get it sent your way. :)
The best thing you could do is scan it and preserve it digitally. As mentioned by other responders, newsprint is acidic and cannot be reliably preserved.
