So, countries in Africa and Asia, when the European Countries gave Independence to the colonies what was the process to do this? Was it different for different colonies, other european nation?
To clarify, do you mean the process by which a colony went from colonial status to independent nation or the process that led the people of a colony to decide that they wanted to be independent? Though obviously there is quite an overlap between these two.

Do you mean what was the specific process of handing over administration from the colonial power to the new independent state (e.g. transition from French colonial governance to free Algerian governance)?
Or are you asking about the general processes which destabilised colonial authority and contributed to the rise of nationalist/independence movements (e.g. France's failure to expand and protect the rights of Muslim Algerians after WWII?)?
