• How did the soldiers of antiquity/medieval times deal with the inevitable PTSD type issues that come from brutal hand to hand combat?

• Did soldiers in the middle ages get PTSD? If so, was it different then PTSD now?

• Are there any indications of combat PTSD in societies like the Spartans, Khan's or Alexander's armies?

• How was PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) treated in the Middle Ages of Europe (or anywhere during 400A.D. to 1500A.D.)? How well documented are we upon the subject?

• Did ancient/med evil warrior's suffer from PTSD to the extent that modern day soldiers do?

• Were there ever any recorded cases of PTSD (or equivalent) after medieval warfare?

• Is there evidence of PTSD in ancient warrior cultures?

Not to say that no one will have anything to add (although they haven't in the past few months it seems). These searches take about one minute and will usually satisfy a casual interest. If your interests are more narrow then this will allow you to make a more sophisticated and interesting query on the subject.
