How can I find out when CA vehicle codes 23220 through 23226 passed into law?

Here is the text of the California Vehicle Codes SECTION 23152-23229.1

And any information on which bill was passed incorporating these sections and how I might access the text of the bill.

This page will list the specific ones. When you go to the bottom of each code, you can see an amended date and an effective date.

However, I don't know if you could see older versions of the codes, or when they were created. I also don't know how to view amendments to the codes, (ie. what was before the amendment, and what changed). Maybe I could find it by fiddling around a bit more, but I think this is a good place to start if you need the information.

Also, I believe here mentions that the whole section was recodified in 1959. I'm sure if you looked through legislative bill histories you could find it, but that's not easy to do.

Lastly, you might have some luck here searching through amendments and bills of the past, but the search tool is very clunky, and it'll require a lot of effort.
