Are there any historians that argue the North fought the Civil War to protect the interests of big business?

Are you thinking of any business interest in particular? Northern textile industries, for example, relied very heavily on Southern cotton and benefited from slavery a great deal. I'm trying to think of what Northern business interest would have profited from a massive Civil War and the destruction of such a large percentage of the nation's wealth, but I'm coming up short.
