I was just wondering whether or not there was a specific time that the government spending became so vast, for example in USA 2014 spending is 6.3 trillion were as back in 1900 it was 1,607.6 million. When and why has there been such a giant increase?
I think this can be given a simple straightforward answer:
when?
the New Deal under Franklin Delano Roosevelt, which was later substituted for doctor win the war
why?
Keynesian economics which held government spending was the way to kickstart an economy out of the crisis.
