Er what do you mean? I can certainly think of instances Mesopotamian and Iranian reuse of historical monuments(Naqsh-i-Rustam preserves Elamite, Achaemenid, and Sassanian reliefs, the stele of Hammurapi and Victory Monument of Naram-Sin were both stolen by Elamites and taken from Babylonia to Susa, several artifacts clearly from Syria were found in the ruins of Neo-Babylonian Babylon, and further instances of such continuity and reuse can be produced ad nauseam) but I'm not quite sure what your question is getting at.
