It is wildly known Walt Disney was an antisemite (People including Meryl Streep and Disney's grandniece have supported this). Disney also personally welcomed Nazi director Leni Riefenstahl to his studios in 1938. So why did Disney agree to make several shorts bashing the nazis and their believes only a couple of years later?
Edit: Here's an example. In this cartoon a tomato is even thrown in an animated Hitler's face.
You can't have Nazism without antisemitism, but they're not the same thing. It's very possible that you can be an antisemite without subscribing to the fascist politics of Nazism.
Also, antisemite or no, Disney's homeland was at war with Nazi Germany. I can't say anything about his patriotism, but having your entire society on a war footing to fight someone is bound to affect your opinion of them.
Also also, the government most likely was paying him very well for his propaganda pieces.
