Why do conspiracy theorists love the book Tragedy and Hope by prof. Carroll Quigley?

Take a look at this

Do they misinterpret something or just plain miss the point the professor was trying to make?

I would love to know what the appeal is. I read the first 200 pages of Tragedy & Hope once. It has some very interesting information on the role of U.S. investment banks in funding German industry in the 1930s. However it doesn't accuse anyone of playing part in a conspiracy.
