What is the meaning of Manishtushu's name?

by asushunamir

Any Mesopotamia experts know what the Akkadian King Manishtushu's name meant? I can't seem to find this one anywhere. Thank you!

According to a quick check of the Reallexikon der Assyriologie, his name has often been read as "Who-is-with Him"(Man-ištu-šu, to make it a little clearer) and taken to suggest that him and his predecessor Rimuš were twins; however in that article Piotr Stienkeller disagrees and suggests based on comparable names that it is closer to a rhetorical question; that is "who-is-with-him" as meaning he has no comparison or rival.
