A rather specific question, but did the Great Depression have any significant effects on the situation in the British Mandate of Palestine?

Not that I've read or seen, honestly. The 1929 Western Wall Riots came before stocks began falling and before the stock crash in October (the riots were in late August), and there's not much indication it affected the conflict there. During the relative quiet period between 1929 and 1936 when both sides were jockeying for influence and the Zionists were attempting to get more Jewish immigrants, the Great Depression went on. The 1936 Arab Revolt didn't seem to have been inspired by economic reasons, so far as I've read, but more by what the Arabs perceived as policies favorable to the Jews (which weren't helped by the fact that Jews participated in putting down the revolt).

I haven't really seen much evidence that it had a significant effect, though perhaps it heightened some tensions during that period, but there were no major outbreaks of sustained violence I know of that related to it. If anyone else has seen something along those lines, that'd be really interesting!
