I would mainly like to know the countries where the most deaths occurred. This data is hard to find where the deaths by countries of origin is easy. Thanks.
Just to clarify, OP, you are asking deaths sorted by physical location of the deaths, not what the death count was sorted by nationality, yes?
Russia, over 26 Million dead from WW2. For Referance, The Holocost, killed roughly 6 Million jewish. From 1929-1953, Stalin Selectivly murdered over 60 Million people. if you want to see that as continuation of WW2, you can. (1945-1953 = 8 Years.) because most deaths stalin caused were within that time.
