Are there any figures as to how many Russians, Poles, Tatars etc were in the batallions? What percentage of German forces did they make up? Did they surrender as soon as possible or fight well?

Having read the story of Yang Kyoungjong yesterday, it made me curious about the Ostbatallions in general.
