I have always had the suspicion that China and Latin America shared at least some form of trade in the past. Is there any proof for or against?

I have always tought about it, honest to god I have barely any information on it, but I guess that's why I'm asking. What do the historians think about the subject? Impossible?

When you say "the past" what time period are you thinking of?

Sure it was possible and happened frequently. After Manilla in present day Phillipines was founded there was frequent and rich trade between Manilla and Acapulco (in Mexico). The Spanish traded American silver for Asian goods, including goods from China.
