Why were the Jewish police so comfortable with their actions against their own people in Nazi Germany? What happened to them after Jews were sent away to concentration camps? How did they fare throughout the war?
I don't really know much about the subject but i do know that the Lodz gheto wad controlled by a strong jewish council(its called judenrat un german) and its leader was basically a fascist dictator. That man, haim rumkowskey,is one if the most controversial figures in the holocaust. So i think a better question would was it hard for the judenrat to make the decisions thar it did?because the jewish police was just executing their orders. As said i dont know much but i recommend you to read about the judenrat and if you are looking for personal opinions from survivors check yad vashem's site.
