How did Inuit Tribes and other Arctic people resolve inter-tribal disputes. Did they have diplomatic rituals/forms? Go to war?

Jean Briggs, in Never in Anger, says that the only form of inter-personal violence was dueling (and it was always inter-personal; all Inuit people believe themselves to be related; local units are better called "bands" rather than tribes. There were no group vs. group disputes that she observed or found in her literature review.
